Cassandra learning  Centre  is starting a woman's group that is to commence on  Tuesday & Wednesday  18 / 19 April.  Activities are card/jewellery making, soft furnishing and workshops: i.e.  universal credit, domestic abuse/violence, gang behaviour.

Norbury Village Residents' Association - Annual General Meeting

Steve Reed MP OBE will be the guest speaker.

There will also be updates from our local councillors, the police and other activities in our area.

Do come along, find out what’s going on in Norbury and have your say in the future of NVRA.

Looking for a new challenge, why not try your hand at bowls?  New members are warmly welcome so come along to our club in Turle Road just off Stanford Road in Norbury and give it a go. The game is suitable for men and ladies of all ages so whether experienced or a novice pop in and say hello, have a look round, have a cup of tea and a chat and make some new friends. We also welcome social members and hold quiz nights, bingo, beetle drives and BBQ’s. Our season starts in April with an open day on 29^th starting at 2.30 pm. Drop in or call either Sheila or Jeff on the following numbers.

The aim of the Community Open Day is to open the space to all, especially local people in Norbury and Thornton Heath.  We aim to show what great potential this tranquil green space has for the community.  The community day will be part of a range of initiatives to encourage local people and others to engage with the space to become part of making this green area into an inclusive nature space and ensure it will become a valuable community asset, to be enjoyed by all.

The 8th June session will not be held at Norbury Library. It will be held at St Philip's Church, Beech Road.

The next Love Norbury Clean Up Day is being held on Saturday 17th June, 10am to 1pm (meet at Norbury & Edge Pub).

This clean up day is in preparation for the Love Norbury in Bloom Summer Festival being held the next day.

Do come along and help clean up Norbury and St Helen's Road Triangle in to ensure we have a clean and tidy area for our community event the next day.
